Asselby Parish Council

 

Minutes of the meeting of the Parish Council held on Thursday 1st December 2022 at 7.30 pm

Present: Cllrs R. Pickersgill (Chair), D. Walker, T. Smith, A. Macchi, P. Burnley and P. Adams (Clerk).

1. Apologies for Absence M. Clark

2. To confirm minutes of the held on 13th October 2022 The minutes were signed by the Chairman.

 

3. Matters Arising

a. Council agree to clerk’s request for an IT equipment budget (£500).

b. Attendance by community association at next meeting was agreed and contact would be made (DW)

c. First aid training was discussed and information would be sought (DW)

d. PC Dominic attended and gave an insight into local issues and traffic concerns . To be invited back for the June meeting.

e. Setting up of a community speed watch group was discussed and contact with other parishes suggested.

f.Precept application was discussed and completion agreed (PA and RP)

g.. Councillor Burnley gave his resignation.

 

4. Accounts a. HSBC – current financial statement discussed with a balance of £7767.27

 

5. Planning matters

a. One application (Landing Lane first floor extension) discussed with no objections

 

6. Any Other Business

a. Clerks report

b. Allocation of tasks to be noted

c. Christmas tree planning (PA)

d. Co-opt process with ERYC (PA)
