Minutes of the meeting of the Parish Council held on Thursday 9th November at 7.30 pm

Present: Cllrs R. Pickersgill (Chair), D. Walker, T. Smith, A. Macchi and P. Adams (Clerk).

1. Apologies for Absence M. Clarke

2. To confirm minutes of the held on 22nd June 2023 The minutes were signed by the Chairman.

Special Item.

Community association (AW and SO) attended and cost discussed around speed indicator lights. Trial run (4 weeks) to be requested from ERYC at associations cost.

3. Matters Arising

a. Christmas tree discussed and agreed (12ft). TS and PA to install.

b. Clerk pay scale discussed and verified Proposer RP seconded AM.

c. Precept planning was discussed and agreement to apply for maximum possible increase. Proposer AM seconded TS.

d. Village walkabout was discussed and is being monitored (RP)

e. Emergency Plan – to be discussed at the next meeting (ALL)

4. Accounts a. HSBC – current financial statement discussed

5. Planning matters a. Two applications were discussed (Hop Deals and Pear Tree Farm). No objections

6. Any Other Business

a. Fertiliser factory to be considered in village plan.
