 Minutes of Asselby Parish Council Annual General Meeting Thursday 16th May 2024

Present were Rob Pickersgill, Michael Clarke, Gary Franklin, Amanda Macchi, Tim Smith and Paul Adams.

Apologies were given by Darren Walker

1: Minutes of AGM were presented and approved.

2. Election of officers was undertaken: Chair Rob Pickersgill (Proposed MC seconded GF) Vice Chair Tim Smith (Proposed RP seconded AM) HJBC representatives (MA and DW to continue) Proper Financial Officer Paul Adams (Proposed MC seconded TS)

3. Financial report. Clerks financial report for 23/24 described an operating deficit of £377 pounds

AGAR forms presented and agreed by council.

Meeting closed and moved to ordinary council meeting.

3. Matters Arising

a. Nuisance dog barking (DW)- discussion was held around lack of action by ERYC PA to contact David Howard

b. Booth bench (RP). Noted that residents are happy with new bench

c. D Day memorial plans (RP) Agreed to undertake short ceremony

d. NHS (RP) Plans to create a list of at risk residents. Investigate possibility of Howden Hopper visiting Asselby/Barmby

4. Accounts

a. HSBC – PA reported a current financial statement of £6815

5. Planning matters

6. Any Other Business carried over

a. Christmas choir – RP to investigate and book a choir for the tree lighting night in December.

b. PA suggested publishing list of current councillors on social media.

All agreed Agree date for next meeting 15th August. Meeting ended at 8-35pm
